Veterans Association Food Bank – “Trapper’s Cabin” Shed Raffle
In support of our Calgary and Edmonton locations the Veterans Association Food Bank is raffling off a “Trapper’s Cabin” style garden shed. The shed (10’x12′) is being built by Veterans at the Veterans Association Food Bank and will be delivered, assembled and outfitted at the property off the winner within 2 weeks of the draw. The proceeds from this raffle will go towards our food hamper program. Each food hamper sent out is valued around $450 and includes a grocery gift card for the purchase of fresh produce, meat and dairy. Proceeds from this raffle will help us purchase those gift cards.
(Delivery will be provided within the province of Alberta, and the winner is responsible to check local bylaws regarding additional buildings on their property. An artistic representation of the shed is available on the Veterans Association Food Bank’s Facebook page.)
